Question: How much do you charge for DJ services?

Answer: Prices vary depending on the venue and type of event that you are having. For example; Weddings are priced differently from backyard events because of the time and formatting used at these events. Weddings are extremely detailed orientated and formal in nature, whereas backyard shows are more relaxed and casual.

Question: Are there any set-up or break-down fees involved?

Answer: No. Set-up and break-down are included in the pricing. If a DJ is charging you to set-up and break-down his/her equipment they are just trying to squeeze more money out of your pocket.

Question: Do you mix the music or just play songs like if you’re listening to the radio?

Answer: Every show I perform I offer club quality mixing. I enjoy mixing tracks and keeping the event upbeat as if you are at a club.

Question: What type of equipment do you use?

Answer: I use professional quality DJ speakers and hardware such as Amps, and DJ lighting at every event. I also use the latest technology in DJ software and computers to play each event as well.

Question: Do you have a variety of music?

Answer: Yes. My music library is around 20 thousand songs deep and rangers from Hip Hop, Old School, Oldies, Country, Rock and Latin just to name a few.

Question: Do you take requests?

Answer: Yes. If I have the song I’ll play it as long as it fits the format of the show. For example: At and all country event I generally will not play any Hip Hop unless I get the green light from the host of the event

Question: Do you drink alcohol at the events?

Answer: No. I generally do not drink at any event. My clients pay me good money to be their entertainer, they do not pay me to get drunk.

Question: Do you Emcee the event as well?

Answer: Yes. With my services I emcee and coordinate the event and make any announcements needed to keep everything moving and organized.

Question: How far are you willing to travel to play a show?

Answer: In my line of work I travel to every event. My company is based in the High Desert near the Victorville area and I have traveled to San Diego and Los Angeles for shows, but I am willing to travel further if needed

Question: What type of events do you specialize in?

Answer: By trade I’m a Hip Hop DJ and started back in 1992 working small parties and clubs. But over the years I have merged into the professional side of the business and can work any event from the family BBQ, Birthday’s, and large or small Weddings just to name a few.

Question: Do you Dress Casually for Every Event?

Answer: No. Each show is different and I dress according to the event. If I’m working a wedding my dress attire is formal, slacks and button-up, or if working a back yard gig then it’s more casual, jeans and a T-shirt.

Question: How Many Songs Do You Play Per Event?

Answer: Generally in a 4 hour set I play between 40-60 songs.

Question: Are you willing to play Overtime past the scheduled event.

Answer: Yes. If asked to play longer I will, for an extra charge of course.
